Glass Pergola Rooms
A louvred aluminium pergola with glass sliding doors on every side. Open it up on a summer’s day, or close the glass and sit out in the wind and rain.
An outdoor glass room that opens up
Glass sliding doors fit between the posts of our Titan, Remanso and Morvelle Custom pergolas. Add them to one side to block the wind, or all the way round for a glass room over your patio or hot tub. Slide the panels back when the sun’s out, and tilt the louvred roof open for light and air.
Glass on the sides you choose
One side, two, three or all four. Leave any side open, or fit blinds, screens or panels instead.
Louvred roof overhead
Close the louvres against rain, or open them for sun and air. Rainwater drains through the frame.
Toughened, lockable glass
The doors run on tracks and lock, so you can close the room up at night.
Warm on cooler evenings
Add an infrared heater to the frame and use the room well into the autumn.
Ideal over a hot tub
Glass on the windward sides keeps you sheltered, while the open roof lets the steam out.

What a glass pergola room is
- A sheltered outdoor space you can use from spring into autumn
- Protected from wind and rain with the glass and roof closed
- Open to the garden when you slide the glass back
- A great way to cover a hot tub, dining table or lounge set
What it isn’t
- It isn’t insulated, so it won’t stay warm in winter like a room in the house
- The roof is aluminium louvres, not glass
- It isn’t built for year-round use as an office or gym

Glass pergola room questions
How much does a glass garden room cost?
A glass pergola room from us starts at about £7,896 including VAT for a 3m x 3m Titan fixed to the house with glass on three sides. A free-standing 3m x 3m with glass all round is £9,795 as a Titan or £13,975 as a Remanso with a motorised roof and LED lighting. A made-to-measure Morvelle Custom of the same size is £21,768. Delivery and installation are quoted after a site visit.
Do I have to put glass on every side?
No. Many people fit glass on the one or two sides that catch the wind and leave the rest open. You can also mix glass with blinds, privacy screens or louvred panels.
Is it warm enough to use in winter?
On a dry, bright day, yes, especially with an infrared heater. But the room isn’t insulated, so it won’t hold heat like a garden room. For year-round use as an office, gym or studio, a garden room is the better choice.
Does the roof keep the rain out?
With the louvres closed, rain runs off into gutters in the frame and drains down the posts. On the Remanso, an optional rain sensor closes the roof by itself when it starts to rain.
Can I add glass doors to a pergola later?
Yes. The glass doors fit between the posts of the Titan, Remanso and Morvelle Custom, so you can start with the pergola and add glass later.
Do I need planning permission?
Many garden pergolas fall under permitted development, but it depends on the height, where it sits and your property. Check with your local planning office first. Our article do pergolas need planning permission? covers the basics.
Do you install it?
Yes. We supply and install glass pergola rooms across Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
